HARDCORE SYNERGY 2010 is just over a week away! We’re making all of our last minute preparations and getting ready for some final announcements before the convention itself. This year we’re doing something a little different, in that we’re going to give everyone a heads up for the planned timetable for the party. Keep in mind that this is based on us starting PROMPTLY at 9:00pm. If there are delays in setup or we open doors a little earlier than planned this will change slightly.

These times are not 100% set in stone but are what is planned for the party. If there are any changes we will be sure to notify everyone before the party itself. Please plan accordingly!

*UPDATE 5/4/2010* We’ve changed the schedule slightly to give everyone a slightly better timeslot and then try out something that could end up being very cool at the end of the show (think of it as like a special group encore). If there are any other changes we’ll keep you posted!

DJ SHIMAMURA – ESSENTIAL WORKS CD RELEASE TOUR!

We’re proud to announce that HARDCORE SYNGERY is an official stop on the release tour for DJ SHIMAMURA – ESSENTIAL WORKS. The new album, which dropped in Japan on March 26th, is the 3rd release by SHOT MUSIC, a new label featuring some of the biggest names in the J-Core scene. The new album features a number of original tracks and remixes by DJ SHIMAMURA, as well as a few remixes by HARDCORE SYNERGY mainstays M-Project and JAKAZiD.

His performance at HARDCORE SYNERGY is the only stop outside of Japan scheduled for this release tour, so don’t miss your chance to come and celebrate!

As we reach the “1 month until the party” mark we have the last of our lineup announcements finally!

Joining us this year will be newcomer M-Neko, performing back to back with JAKAZiD. And returning from a killer set last year, and at popular demand, REDALiCE will be spinning along with the others on Friday night.

Everything lined up is sure to be wicked, with doors opening at 9:00PM on May 14th. This year the party will be held at the ROSEMONT BALLROOM inside of the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. Not only do we have more space for attendees, but also no walking across the street and waiting in the cold to get in. Come check us out for what is sure to be one of the most killer events ever held at an Anime Convention in North America, and stay tuned for timetable and other event announcements coming from us in the very near future!

After months of waiting, we’re finally ready to make the first of a few lineup announcements for our show at Anime Central 2010. Bear in mind that we still have a few more announcements to make, and that the lineup page order is not indicative of the timetable for the night of the party. HADO CHANNEL5 Reminder!

Just a reminder that HADO CHANNEL5 is tomorrow. As we posted previously, many staple HARDCORE SYNERGY artists are slated to play the online event. There’s an English speaking chat room that will be open that mydjsobad/HARDCORE SYNERGY staff will be present in, and as an added bonus, throughout the event we will be making our preliminary lineup announcements and plans for mydjsobad throughout the course of the event, with our official announcements being made here and on the Anime Central website early next week. Tune in for some sneak peeks at what we have going on!

HadoChannel5 Website opens – Lineup announced!

For those who don’t know, HadoChannel is a long running series of online, web-broadcasted hardcore parties hosted by the guys that arrange Japan’s “X-TREME HARD” events. The next one has been announced and is happening on February 27th. It’s a free stream, and there is usually a chat room open during the event for Japanese and English listeners to converse. Many of the artists even stop in to chat themselves!

Biometrics Warrior ACOUSTIC

HARDCORE SYNERGY mainstays and friends Akira “GUHROOVY” Uchibori and NO+CHIN have been playing alot more acoustic and soulful music on the side lately. In fact last year during our visit to downtown Chicago, Akira broke out with a bit of amazing impromptu harmonica playing. NO+CHIN recently posted this video of them performing an acoustic version of beatmania IIDX 15 DJ TROOPERS CS new song “Biometrics Warrior” at a show in December. Check it out!

While we’re not quite ready to announce who we’re bringing out for what we hope to be our biggest party to date, we are ready to inform you that we will once again be making an appearance at Anime Central 2010 to utterly destroy Rosemont, IL on Friday, May 14th.

If you’ve been to our party in the past you have an idea what to expect, this year we’re planning to blow the roof off of the Hyatt Regency O’Hare for an event so crazy we don’t even know how to describe it! We’re putting the finishing touches on our planned lineup right now, but over the next week or 2 we’ll be making the initial lineup announcements, with news and updates continuing all the way through the day of the event. Keep checking back as we have plenty of surprises in store!
