HARDCORE SYNERGY vs. X-TREME HARD @ Anime Central 2009!
March 17th, 2009As with every March, the time for our Anime Central 2009 announcements comes. After the tremendous lineup we had last year we knew we had to pull out as many stops as possible this year to top it. People have been asking for months now what our plans were an now we’re going to start letting them trickle out.
HARDCORE SYNERGY returns in 2009 and may just be our most ambitious party to date. This year we’re teaming up with Anime Central and the guys are GUHROOVY to bring the United States a taste of X-TREME HARD, one of Japan’s most prolific series of hardcore parties. And rather than spoil the lineup all at once, we’re going to announce it over the course of the next week.
Today we’re excited to welcome back and announce:
DJ CHUCKY
M-Project
NO+CHIN
3 members of the widely popular GUHROOVY hardcore crew. Fans of the IIDX franchise should easily recognize all 3 names from their contributions from the last several entries to the game.
We still have several more artists to announce along with our other plans for the convention as a whole so keep checking back for more!

May 1st, 2008Roughly 2 weeks away! If you’re anything like us, I’m sure you’re anxious with anticipation for the event as a whole. The cat’s out of the bag on most of the stuff we have planned, but there are a few more things we have going on that we’ll announce over the next couple weeks either here, on mydjsobad.com or on bemanistyle.
Today we’re announcing officially that we’ll be having a meet & greet/signing session at the mydjsobad booth on Saturday. Currently we have it planned to happen at about 2:30pm, it may start early or possibly a little bit later. We’ll obviously have plenty of CDs on sale from the majority of our artists, including several new releases. If you plan on picking something up to have signed, try to be there just a bit early in case of a rush.
The mydjsobad booth is located within the car show in the exhibition hall.
GUHROOVY to appear at HARDCORE SYNERGY
April 24th, 2008Today we’re proud to announce that in addition to everyone already announced, GUHROOVY (a.k.a. AKIRA UCHIBORI) will be performing a special Live PA set at HARDCORE SYNERGY. Fans of hardcore music have more than likely heard of or done business with the GUHROOVY shop, which he happens to be the president of. He’s also extremely well known for his work on Konami’s beatmania and beatmaniaIIDX franchises over the past 10 years. He’s contributed lyrics and collaborated in songs with prolific bemani artists such as L.E.D. and Togo-chef. Over the past few years he has been a mainstay in the beatmaniaIIDX franchise, creating new songs with NO+CHIN.
The chance to see GUHROOVY live doesn’t occur very often, this is no doubt going to be a very special performance.

NO+CHIN added to artist lineup
March 20th, 2008A lot of you will surely remember our friend NO+CHIN from his set last year that mixed hardcore, J-Pop, anime themes and popular BEMANI songs, as well as his awesome pink hat and even more awesome brightly colored shoes. Those of you who do remember probably requested his return this year. Today we’re happy to inform you all that he’s coming back to perform again. As much as you all wanted him to come back and spin, he wanted to come back and see you all. He had such a good time last year that he approached us and asked to return before we even had a chance to invite him!
This year he’ll be coming back to perform on behalf of GUHROOVY along with DJ CHUCKY. Now that we have them both confirmed to appear they’re planning something really special for the convention. We don’t want to spoil anything just yet, so keep an eye out for more updates. We still have a few things up our sleeves!

March 17th, 2008To help everyone who is attending, or has interest, we’ve put together this website. Up until the event itself it will be the first place to check for news regarding the timeframe, artists in attendance and any other plans. It also stands as a place for everyone to find information on the DJs who are performing, everyone running the event and to find ways to contact anyone you may need to get in touch with. We’ll be adding profile pages for each of our special guests DJs over the course of the week as well as making our final guest announcements and lineups in the very near future.
Keep checking back with us for anything you may need to know, along with some surprises along the way. Once the event is over we’ll be posting up all of our pictures and maybe even some video clips for everyone who couldn’t attend or those who want to relive the night.

March 16th, 2008As many of you know, we sponsored DJ CHUCKY, M-Project and NO+CHIN at Anime Central 2007’s Soap Bubble party. This year we’re coming back and we’re pulling all the stops. On Friday, May 16th 2008 in place of the annual Underground Groove party we’ll be holding HARDCORE SYNERGY, an event featuring some of the most talented Hardcore DJs Japan, the US and the UK have to offer. Our lineup still isn’t 100% finalized with a few more DJs lined up but awaiting confirmation. Currently confirmed to make an appearance are:

- Da/Le (AVSS)
- DJ Silver (HAPPYHARDCORE.COM)
- DJ Comet (SHY GUY RECORDINGS)
- M-Project (TERRAFORM MUSIC)
- Jakazid (NUKLEUZ)

As stated, this isn’t necessarily the final lineup. We’re currently talking with a few more artists and as such we won’t release the final schedule until everyone is confirmed. Anyone who attended last year’s Soap Bubble can tell you that the guys from GUHROOVY put on one hell of a show, and with 2 of them confirmed to be coming back, along with a plethora of some of the best that the worldwide hardcore scene has to offer, this is surely an event you won’t want to miss.
